Description
The females are dark brown with a lighter speckled chest, laying up to 300 eggs per year.
Males have a similar appearance, but have a darker brown chest with no mottling – making them easy to sex.
Males weigh between 4 -5oz and females between4.5-6oz for the females.
There is no need to have any males if you just require the eggs for eating and not for hatching.
A cheap and easy pet to keep.
